Soft curves, sharp character. The PAULIN Espresso Cup is hand-thrown with a wiggly, scalloped form that’s as sculptural as it is functional – playful in profile, grounded in feel.
Named after Pierre Paulin, the design echoes the sensual, space-age silhouettes of his iconic seating – all flowing edges and unexpected softness. It fits easily in the hand, with just the right weight and rhythm to become part of your daily pause. Sized for a single or double shot, this one’s made for early-morning jolts, late-night wind-downs, and everything in between. A small dose of form-meets-function for your countertop.
This glaze is a rich collision of earth and depth. ‘Tiger’s Eye’ lays the foundation – an olive-toned glaze shot through with subtle shifts of brown, pink, and flashes of blue where the texture catches. Inside, ‘Blue Saffire’ takes over, layering into a moody prussian blue, flecked with vivid crystalline bursts that appear where the fire worked its magic. Brooding, unexpected, and never the same twice.
Thrown in small batches – each cup has its own variation in curve, glaze, and mood. No two are identical, and that’s exactly the point.
Dishwasher safe. Playful, practical, and full of personality.
