A mug with presence. Hand-thrown with a scalloped, ribbed texture that catches the light and lingers in the hand. The curves are soft but structured – a nod to vintage glassware, retro dinner sets, and the kind of details you only notice when you slow down.
Named after Mario BELLINI, the mug takes inspiration from the bold, bubble-like contours of his iconic modular sofa designs. The form is a tribute to sculptural softness – functional, tactile, and full of character.
‘Obsidian’ is a deep, glossy black glaze with scattered crystals of turquoise that catch the light like oil on water — part peacock, part nebula. In sunlight, it shimmers. In shadow, it smolders. No two surfaces are the same.
Dishwasher safe. It’s the perfect size for a flat white, but just as happy holding an americano, a short pour of tea, or whatever you’re reaching for at 10am or 10pm.
Fired in small batches, each piece is slightly different – a unique rhythm in the ridges, a glaze that breaks differently with each pour. Built for slow mornings, refill afternoons, and that last sip before midnight.
